As part of our continuous improvement projects, we not only have improved the supply reliability of DOWSIL™ HV 495 Emulsion, but have also improved the health hazards profile of this product. Since there is a slight change in our manufacturing process that results in a reduction of the methylcyclosiloxanes content, this new version is being introduced as DOWSIL™ HV 496 Emulsion.
Below, you will find the change on the hazards pictograms shown in the Safety Data Sheets for these products. The improvement on DOWSIL™ HV 496 Emulsion is noticeable by removing the health hazard.
